Review of Jersey Boys (2014) by Michael B — 13 May 2015
The jump from stage to screen makes Jersey Boys lose it's charm and humor, and instead leaves the audience with an awkwardly narrated and over dramatic biopic, complete with poor performances and an absolutely terrible attempt at age progression.
Sure, the music is great, but without its integration into the narrative, we're left to wonder why the Tony winning Musical was even adapted for the screen in the first place.
