This is one of the movies that innovated the ro-MAN-tic comedy, and it stands up well after 15 years. Though the movie drags slightly in places, the manic energy from Cruise and Gooding Jr. keep the life in Crowe's rapid repartée.
It remains a cornerstone of 90s pop culture, and a reminder of a time when bromances were simpler.
