Review of Jeremiah Johnson (1972) by Matt C — 11 Jan 2010
This film hangs on for dear life on the periphery of bad and good movie for me. First the good, the shots of the scenery are absolutely gorgeous, and Will Geer makes the film a whole hell of alot more tolerable (wish there would've been more of him in it though).
The bad, it's considerably boring and dull for about half the film, with aimless storytelling and a few overly sentimental moments. Since alot of people seemed to enjoy this film more than I did, watch it at least once I suppose I'd recommend.
But unless there's nothing else on tv to watch one night, that's about the only way I'll ever watch this film again.
