Robert Redford plays a man who is tired of city life so decides to become a mountain man. He meets an old man who teaches him how to hunt and survive. He has interactions with the Indians both good and bad.
Good story and acting by Redford, good cinematography. Does a good job of showing the loneliness of the mountains.
