Review of Jem and the Holograms (2015) by Meg B — 27 Oct 2015
This is a movie for tween girls and no one else. My 10 year old daughter thought it was okay, except for the robot. My 6 year old didn't like it at all. The music was incredibly loud. She covered her ears during the songs.
We left during the last song. The messages are sappy and drop like anvils in the story. There are a lot of rolling moments in the movie. Some of the songs are good just very loud for little ones, like taking them to a rock concert.
This one is good for a Netflix movie.
