Review of Jem and the Holograms (2015) by Steve S — 18 Feb 2016
Here's a film that represents everything that is wrong with the state of today's current pop music. It looks even worse when it tries to make the audience actually think that its terrible and bland songs are actually good.
It makes a strong argument, much like real pop music does today. That if enough undiscriminating kids are told that the bad music is good, then enough kids with no taste will buy bad music.
