Review of Jeff, Who Lives at Home (2012) by Chris N — 31 Jul 2012
Finding meaning in utterly banal things like watcing a bag fly in the wind is the plot of this story, which centers around a covertly functional mentally retarded adult living at home and running around the city getting beaten up and trying to help his brother reconcile an affair.
In the end, the peripeteia is Jeff's realization that he really does have the power to take a bus places and buy things. C'mon Hollywood, try harder. And critics, are you guys sitting around masturbating yourselves or am I right that this movie just sucks?
