Review of Jeff, Who Lives at Home (2012) by Jordan R — 16 Jan 2014
This is the perfect example of short but sweet. This movie is less that 90 minutes long but it doesn't need to be any longer. It tells a great of story kind of a burnout(Jason Segel) who goes on a 24 hour journey with his dick older brother Pat(Ed Helms) to try and find his destiny.
This movie proved that comedic actors like Segel and Helms can give great dramatic performances when needed. The only thing I couldn't stand was the style of filming. Seriously, every frame they felt like it'd be cool to zoom in and out.
I don't who's idea that was, the directors, or the cinematographer, but it kind of took away from this movie. But overall it's a good film, i'd recommend to anyone.
