I never found a sense of doom watching Jeepers Creepers, I always found it weaker than the sequel too. The only thing that was kind of interesting was all of those dead naked bodies attached to the walls of that creepy lair and the 'thing' after them was kind of scary.
I thought the majority of it though was kind of boring.
