Pretty much ignores anything from the first film that made it suspenseful and leaves this to be a mediocre creature feature. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's not what this film should have been.
The story line is decent but slow. The characters are unlikable and boring, but the creature remains entertaining to watch. The ending is alright but drags on for too long. It's not a awful film, but it doesn't offer much.
