Review of Jeepers Creepers 2 (2003) by Arslan K — 03 Oct 2014
The follow-up to Jeepers Creepers is one of the oldest memories I have watching a horror movie, and while not as scary or as interesting as the first, it sure as hell is entertaining! Right from the terrific opening, this thing kicks into high gear and bodies are dropping like flies with the simple, yet effective, bus setting.
The cast of young teens fit their cliches and are all pretty serviceable, with Eric Nenninger playing a fantastic asshole who you really grow to hate. You learn a bit more about the Creeper's mythology once one of the cheerleaders randomly becomes a psychic; which is retarded and they never explain it.
It's by no means a good horror film, but the Creeper is a very formidable foe and I love watching him pick people off, including but not limited to, one of the most hilarious decapitations I've ever seen!
