Such a wasted opportunity for a horror film. the movie has a cool monster, coming off the heals of a strong first film, and the opening gets things started well. it makes you wonder why they would waste a good actor like Ray Wise in a plot that would be been infinitely more interesting than the spare-ass teenagers story line.
Ps. the director is a convicted child molester and his fetishizing of near-naked youth is NOT subtle here.
