A fantastic, honest and powerful delivery from Van Damme in a role that is reminiscent of Mickey Rourke in the Wrestler in that the actor draws on life-experience to deliver a truly amazing performance.
Smartly edited (with one cut-out scene that is absolutely AMAZING), honest and poignant - Van Damme shows a range that proves he is more than just the moves. He is an actor, and a damn fine one at that.
