Review of JCVD (2008) by Yousif E — 26 Sep 2010
Jean Claude Van Damme gives a career best performance playing himself, but in an emotionally raw and intimately personal performance. The film capture the actor at his absolute lowest in life - subjected to making bad films, in a custody battle for his daughter and not in a great financial situation.
He returns to Belgium and finds himself involved in a bank heist. Outstanding direction and a shocking, but terrific turn from JCVD.
