Review of Jaws of Satan (1982) by Wes S — 27 May 2015
I expected it to be trash, but it was really just a boring Jaws knockoff. Only, replace Quint with a priest, Brody with a female local doctor, and Hooper with a snake expert who is called in after mysterious snake bites.
It still has a few interesting moments, like a snake getting shot in the face with a gun and a memorable scene of a very young Christina Applegate freaking out after a snake bite. That's probably the only big selling point: To see Christina Applegate pre-Married With Children.
Other than that, it's skippable.
