If you crossed "End of Days" with "Snakes on a Plane" and filmed it in the 1970s, you'd get "Jaws of Satan." Fritz Weaver plays a small-town priest who's ancestors killed off a druid cult.

Those druids cursed his family and the devil, in the form of a king cobra, returns to the small town off of a circus train to exact his revenge. That revenge comes by way of the demonic snake controlling all of the other local snakes, who then attack the small parish community members.

And all this is happening just as a new local dog racing track is about to open! As you may have surmised, this film is ridiculous. It's part nature-gone-wild and part Satanic-panic, but overall, it's just a terrible film, although the film is just bad enough that it can be enjoyed on an ironic so-bad-it's-good level.

Gretchen Corbett of "The Rockford Files" and Norman Lloyd were the only actors I recognized. I didn't realize it until I looked at IMDB, but his film also featured a 7-year-old Christina Applegate in her film debut.

Only watch this film if you're a die hard Applegate fan or if you're in the mood for cheesy Satanic snake attacks.
