Thank you Jaws 2, thank you for utterly destroying my high admiration and respect for Jaws, top knotch. I love Jaws, it's such a simple yet brilliant film: Shark Kills People, People try to kill Shark, how it worked it into a brilliant film that I highly regard to this day is an absolute mystery; all I know is that it worked, more than I can say about this film.
It takes the exact same formula, but rather than just be another knock-off, it's an official sequel so it relates to it and I swear wanted to shame the first one. It does everything wrong, bad acting, bad suspense, bad story, the only thing moderately entertaining is the shark itself, and even then you just want to see it kill people.
See the original, then watch it again and you've seen two Jaws films.
