Review of Jaws 2 (1978) by Matthew B — 14 Sep 2015
The other two "Jaws" sequels are worse than this one, because I don't think its just as bad as what most people make it out to be. I know it doesn't have the same magic as the first one, but it at least works well on its own.
The movie does have some good acting, while Roy Scheider is the best part of the movie as you root for him. The music by John Williams is really good, as well as the direction by Jeannot Szwarc. Also, the movie does delivered some good parts that are quite suspenseful.
The movie doe have some slow parts, which I think they could've been cut out and the teenagers aren't as interesting as what the three main characters were from the first movie. That is just my opinion, and really don't have a problem if you would disagree with me about this movie.
I enjoy "Jaws 2" for what it is, and I say give it another look.
