Genuinely terrifying and endlessly influential, Steven Spielberg's biting classic is an iconic slice of suspense cinema. Many scenes are a masterclass in editing and cinematography and Spielberg's signature simplicity of storytelling offers accessible action adventure that's both morally meaty and effortlessly entertaining.
A true modern great with a Hitchcockian vibe that harks back to the master of suspense himself.
