Jaws is truly a special film. Spielberg truly knows how to create suspenseful moments and really gives you a chilling feeling. The writing is superb, the acting top notch, a great cast of likable characters to root for and an engaging plot with plenty of suspenseful moments.
Honestly what really makes the film however is the original score by John Williams which is just phenomenal. The suspenseful and nerve racking feelings you get while watching and the triumph you feel along with the characters in the end is unbeatable by any film.
The run-time is a bit long but other than that the film is a true classic.
