Review of Jaws (1975) by Ryan K — 01 May 2014
It's hard to imagine a more effective fear generator that Jaws, but where it really excels beyond most of today's blockbuster fare is with it's characters. Brody, Quint, and Hooper are believable people brought to life by wonderful performances.
Couple that with a fantastic script, beautiful 70s cinematography, and one of the best monologues ever put on film (Quint's Indianapolis speech) and the product is damn near perfect.
