Watched this on the big screen for the first time last night, and the cinema was almost full. And gladly there were clearly people who had never seen it before... As people still screamed and jumped at the perfectly executed fright scenes.
30 years on, this film still delivers - proving you don't need CGI to evoke emotion, just a great story, human characters, brilliant acting, stunning musical score and of course, genius direction.
