The shark monster theme is quite ridiculous these days now that everyone is wiser than to expect an animal to act like a monster.
What hurts the film is the fact no credible person would expect a shark to batter a cage when it's made of the same stuff that holds our nose in place!!!! Got to Hurt that shark I'd imagine when normal sharks are warded off by a simple smack of a swimmer.
