'JAWS' is, simply put, the greatest shark film and arguably one of the greatest films in the history of the art of cinema. It's scary, realistic, suspenseful, charming, and surprisingly funny at times. A very well written adaptation of Peter Benchley's less than amazing novel made a movie that did the rare accomplishment of being superior to the original material.
