Review of Jason X (2001) by Skyler I — 29 Jul 2011
I think that at somepoint during the course of this film, I started slamming my head repeatedly against the wall to dull a bit of the pain inflicted on me by this movie. I can't really remember that well, because I woke up again several days later in a hospital.
In all seriousness though, this movie was truly terrible, taking the crappy Friday the 13th franchise into outer space and the future, which sounds more like the basis for bad fan fiction than an actual continuation of Jason's one dimensional killing sprees.
There are a couple of humorous moments in the film, but they can't save it from lackluster direction, unbelievably poor acting and a thin plot. I've never seen a good Friday film, and this goes to show the franchises inadequecies.
