It is bad but hard to rate how bad it is...
The soundtrack is amazing even if too intense for scenes that contains no suspense at all.
Jason is still immortal which makes him unstoppable and the movie really predictable. This make it impossibler to worry about anything concerning both the plot and the protagonists. Deaths looks more butal than ever but are impressively varied.
Relations between characters are terribly poor : the sheriff's position doesn't evolve at all, people looks very close but their deaths don't seem to count at all for each other, characters have time and mental disponibility to think about their sexuality but not about their own life in danger.
What about involving kids in such a movie ? They are useless from beginning to the end. Plus they are confronted to the death of a man and quite violent fights (it is an euphemism).
