By the 6th installment in the serie, the basic concept is getting really, really old, and nothing was tried to improve it in any way this movie. This seems to be a turning point in the serie : the intro was dropped, as was seriousness and overall credibility.

The rationale behind this movie (that is, Jason's revival) and the character's psychology are so thin you can actually see them only from one side. Some parts are clearly meant to be funny, but they are in fact very stupid.
