Review of Jason Lives - Friday the 13th Part VI (1986) by Vern H — 16 Sep 2012
Good: Better storyline compared to others, some good deaths, Alice Cooper, really fun.
Bad: Been a long time since I have seen this, but I read the plot again and have remembered much of it, will come back later and write more detailed review if need be. The plot is silly, but that is no problem for me. It is less bloody than the others.
Man, Jason just cannot stay down can he? In this sequel Jason is brought back to our favorite campsite in one of the wackiest methods yet, but trust me it will get worse later in the series. The plot in this movie is much more detailed compared to some of the others. We question the main character of the story, and the method with which he attempts to defeat Jason is one of the most creative seen yet. There are some really good and memorable deaths within this movie. Also the soundtrack is by Alice Cooper, which is heard at one point, which really added to the movie for me.
On the bad sides the plot is very extravagant, some may find it silly and unrealistic, but I find that it adds to the fun. There is less blood in this one compared to the others, but the raising of other aspects makes up for it completely.
