Ok as far as I can tell we are supposed to completely ignore the end of number 5 where it's hinted that our old mate Tommy is going to become the new Jason...he obviously decided not to and also opted to give up being a stoic borderline mental case in favour of being a chatter box slightly stressed out fellow.

Also having sat the last movie out Jason returns to life as a mega chombie thanks to some electro-mazzaz lightning bolt power that comes his way when our chatty hero digs him up to check if he really is dead (the idiot.).

After that its a fairly short and uneventful rampage this time around but its nice to be back in the 80s where somethings never change such as cops never believing a serial killer with a well documented history of coming back from the dead has...come back from the dead, and teenagers having sex with as many of their clothes still on as they can manage.
