Perphas the last great sequel of the series. Director McLoughlin, who also wrote the script did really care for his characters, story and he did try to make something completely different. Sure, the silliest thing was bringing Jason back to life.

But the director keeps things moving thanks to a good sense and an amusing sense of humour. Even rocker Alice Copper wrote three songs for this movie! Perphas too much humour for some of the die-hard fans.

But McLoughlin did a real good job and I think, it is the best written and direcred of the series. Even non-fans of the series liked this one and some famous filmmakers like Edgar Wright and Quentin Tarantino did like this one too.
