Review of Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993) by Shane J — 12 Jan 2011

Again, in the same vein of part 5 - I felt cheated.. this was meant to be Jason's last movie (again) - so why in the hell do we only see him at the very beginning and very end?.. instead, it's a movie that explains that Jason is essentially a snake/worm type of creature that can enter your body orally (or vaginally) and turn you into Jason - just not in appearance.

... but you gain all of the benefits of his strength and inability to die - just minus the hockey mask... unless you are a blood relative, then you turn into the man himself... outside of the nonsense of body jumping, and jason being a parasite - this movie isn't half bad.

. but it certainly doesn't make it good, or great... 2 things saved this film from being rated a 2.. a brief cameo by the Necronomicon (from Evil Dead) and of course, Freddy's glove coming out of the ground and dragging Jason's mask down to hell.
