Review of Jason and the Argonauts (1963) by Gus S — 28 Jul 2008
Good old-fashioned adventure tale is supported by some of Ray Harryhausen's greatest special effects work. The story and acting is all very straightforward but they serve the film's greater purpose: pure entertainment.
The three-minute skeleton battle climax alone is worth the price of the movie.
