Review of Jason and the Argonauts (1963) by Frog B — 25 Jan 2010
Of all of Harryhausen's work I would have to declare this one as my all time favorite. This was the first movie I ever had seen of his when I was a kid. Of course, having no idea as to who he was at the time, I didn't need to in order to be impressed with hydra or the warrior skeletons.
The special effects are of course, astounding as they are with any film of his. It's nostalgic, classic, and an excellent way to introduce Ray Harryhausen's talent to anyone.
