Review of Jarhead (2005) by Jessica — 06 Nov 2005
From the begining one can easily tell that this movie is not like any other war movies. It opens with action and not of war but what Jake Gyllenhaal's character endures as he has " mad a wrong turn on the way to college".
This movie contained some of the best shots I have ever seen and even tho many will agree that the movie was slow through the middle to the end then I would have to say the film accomplished exactly what it wanted.
To show the disappointment and the experience of waiting. It almost is a metaphor.
