This is a film that does not pull its punches when it comes to visualizing all aspects of war. It really gets the terror and despair but really broke new ground when it came to showcasing uneasy camaraderie and ESPECIALLY showing boredom.
Jake Gyllenhal gives an incredible performance, and the great script and visuals will leave an impression on you.
