Review of Jarhead (2005) by Carol H — 17 Mar 2010
This movie is at times reminiscent of a modern day Full Metal Jacket, it follows a new marine recruit through boot camp and in to the first war against Iraq (after they invaded Kuwait). It's based on a book by a marine who actually served there so you know the accuracy is high.
Definitely one of the best war movies in the last few years.
