Review of Jarhead (2005) by Joshua M — 19 Mar 2010
A very different war film.
For the viewers who only want to see action, bombs, violence from a war film, then this is not the film for you.
But, its also an incredibly clever film, in the sense of the psychological affects of war, and how much time is actually done not fighting. Some great acting from Jammie Fox, and Jake Gyllanhall makes a very beleiveable Swafford.
A throughly enjoyed film, can watch it again and again.
