I'm a junkie for war movies. But in this movie war isn't really the case. You get a sense of what life was like going through basic training in the marines and how nervous one may have been to endure that.
Great acting from Gyllenhaal and Foxx and I don't agree with a 61%, this film deserves to be in the 70's somewhere.
