Standout performances by the two leads. Evocative emotional depth from Toni Collette and and exquisite but frequently overlooked performance by Gotaro Tsunashima (who I desperately want to see more of!!).
You have to take this film on its own terms and not subject it too expected movie making. It will take you to patient emotion and reflection as long as openness is maintained.
