Even a Friedkin car chase couldn't save this movie, which single-handedly retired David Caruso's movie career his first time at bat. Eszterhas got a double-whammy in 1995: "Jade" was release just a few weeks after "Showgirls.
" It's not a bad movie, but so much talent should have produced something less awful.
