Review of Jacob's Ladder (1990) by Dave L — 18 Sep 2009
Jacob's ladder is a despairing film but on some levels very affecting. The movie examines the military's sanctioned LSD experiments and their effects particularly on the main character, Jacob Singer, played by Tim Robbins.
The movie does get bizarre- and in my opinion- this hurts the story. There are some really good moments and the movie is definitely worth watching.
