Review of Jacob's Ladder (1942) by Kevin G — 02 Apr 2009
Pretty good when it first came out, but it wouldn't really stand up to the standards of today's viewers. The story is fairly good -- cross The Sixth Sense with some elements of Ghost. It's spooky at times, but you tend to get lost as he jumps from wife to girlfriend.
A dying mind is a bit disconcerting which makes the movie disconcerting as well. Danny Aiello's performance shines.
