Review of Jackie (2016) by Dee D — 27 Dec 2016

I think Portman did a great job but as to the movie I thought it rather distant cold not very fleshy no heart to it. It made Jackie seem like a cardboard figure.. all of both smart airheadish & at times bitchy.

I know she was more than that & it did show her strength very well..but I feel that the focus on just the sad event & days following it..just did not give insight rather added to the curiosity of her persona.

.at times I couldn't figure what she was talking of.. that the air head part other times she had insight & intelligence more than imagined. I lacked bit of heart & plodded a bit that I had to nudge my bf & in one or two talky scenes my eyes closed.
