Review of Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa (2013) by Jon P — 07 Mar 2014
Sitting somewhere between scripted reality and heartwarming buddy comedy, Jackass' latest is a disjointed feature plagued by blurred genre boundaries and an aura of aimlessness. Tame in its outrageous comedy and vague in its plotting, the film is too insipid to excel as either, let alone both and besides its sweet soundtrack and one or two admittedly amusing set pieces, the whole endeavour is completely missable.
Stay away and spend your money on an old Jackass box set.
