Review of Jack the Giant Slayer (2013) by Brad B — 01 Oct 2013
As soon as the words "Jack The Giant Slayer" were uttered in an executive's office the best VFX guys were reaching for their phones as this was clearly not a film for oscar contention. IF you can forgive McGregor and McShane for chewing up the scenery (will someone please tell Ewan to stick to his normal accent), then the last third of the film is worth waiting for.
