Review of Jack the Giant Slayer (2013) by Rory R — 05 Oct 2013

I expected this to be an over the top adaptation of the fairy tale, but instead we got a fun, down to earth adventure film with respectable performances from the cast. there is no doubt that the story line is simple but there was no intention to turn it into another Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters catastrophe.

It stay's true to the fairy tale, offering spectacular visuals, interesting characters and two headed giants. Definitely a fun watch.
