Though it's entertaining in that old-fashioned fantasy sense, this just isn't a good movie. The special effects suck and I'm sure a decent amount of them actually sucked at the time this was made.
The acting is bad, the costumes are straight from the local Renaissance Fair. Though I must admit the last act was pretty cool.
