Review of Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit (2014) by Alex W — 19 Apr 2015

This kinda came and wen't and while its not setting the world on fire its a solid thriller. Bramagh adds legitimacy to a film but for a reason, the man can act and tell a story. Ryan the character seem to be a more active and capable spy in this film just just an annalist like in the previous 3.

Chris Pine fits right into the role as a great lead but not necessarily an action star. It was kinda tripping watching Keira Knightley with an american accent after seeing so many with her normal English.

For viewers who prefer tension and suspense to shooting and explosions. Not a must see but a fun time.
