Is this a return to form for the Jack Ryan franchise? No. Is it a decent action film with good acting and a fun, albeit far-fetched story? Yes. It was a good movie that basically was exactly what I expected given trailers and word of mouth.
No surprises and a fast pace. Recommended for action fans and fans of the others in the "franchise".
