I've not read any Tom Clancy's books but I've played at least one of the games. The whole Russian bad guys things is very 80's but I guess you can't deviate from the books. The detective work here is deplorable, using computers to solve it, is the answer to cutting the plot scenes short.
Bland acting making it pretty ordinary.
